Back in the '80s and '90s, I was happy, particularly the auspices of a progressive (though sometimes also mean a contradiction in terms, I admit it!) My friend from the glories of Big Star, Alex Band Chilton. LS had the first two albums, and his other 45. Later, when I realized that he was a hero groups like REM, Nirvana, Guided By Voices, Replacements (name of a song after him), Teenage Fan Club, to name a few, are "get it", as biggerwas. The coup de grace was, of course, the untimely death of Alex March 17 (only 59). This led me to this CD collection to buy. Now I have heard all the way through 3X and it was a revelation! As I told my friend, was the biggest pop / rock and roll stuff I've heard in 20 years! incredible things, "Feel", "In The Street" (the theme "The '70s Show"), "Do not Lie To Me", "you get what you deserve," "September Girls" and my personal favorte "I 'm In Love With A Girl." Brilliant,material engineering, I would recommend to anyone, I can not wait for "third party"!
