Screaming for Vengeance is one of the most important, classic metal masterpieces. It found Judas Priest refocusing on heavy metal and achieving a greater balance between commercialism and creativity. The results were catchy, accessible and hardhitting. Ultimately, Screaming for Vengeance hangs together better than even the undeniable landmark British Steel, both thematically and musically. The remaining traces of boogie have been ironed out and the lyrics return to the darkness and menace that gave the band its mystique. The music is so strong that there simply aren't any seams showing Screaming For Vengeance Special 30th Anniversary Edition includes Judas Priest's historic US Festival performance, available for the first time on DVD. The CD includes 6 bonus tracks, 4 of which are previously unreleased live tracks ( Electric Eye, Riding On The Wind, Screaming For Vengeance and You've Got Another Thing Comin' ) recorded live on September 10, 1982 in San Antonio, Texas on the Screaming For Vengeance tour. Also included are never- seen before photos and new liner notes written by That Metal Show's, Eddie Trunk.
